DAILY-USE GUIDE
KOW YOUR KNIFE: To get the most out of your knives, you need to understand them first. Be familiar with their structure and features, take care of them like good friends, they will stay sharp and become your right-hand man for years.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT KNIFE: To ensure optimal use, please choose different types of knives for cutting different foods. Generally, this set of knives cannot be used to cut bones or other hard foods (such as fish bones, frozen food, etc.), otherwise the blades may be damaged. However, the lovely and small Cleaver Knife can actually treat small bones in meat easily. But in any case, DO NOT CUT HARD BONES with Cleaver Knife or other knives.
Please avoid beating food with the flat of the knife. Wooden or polyethylene cutting blocks are recommended, and avoid using knives on glass, marble, or granite surfaces, as it will blunt the blade.
MUST WASH AFTER USE: To protect the rust prevention function of the blade, do not leave acidic or corrosive juice such as tomato juice or lemon juice on the blade surface for too long. After using the knife, please clean it in time and dry it with a cloth or paper towel to keep the blade sharp for a long time. NOTE: Don’t let your knife dry naturally, or stains will emerge on the surface.
Wash the knife with clean water and gentle detergent. NO DISHWASHER. No bleach, oven cleaner, chlorine-containing products or corrosive cleaning products. Because these products are highly corrosive to stainless steel, even after dilution. They will lead to small pits on the surface and affect the appearance and the performance of the knives.
PLACE AND TRANSFER: When placing the knife, be sure that you can see the knife, make the handle toward yourself and make sure the tool does not accidentally drop after placement. Do not put an unprotected knife in a drawer. Do not let the cloth and other objects cover the knife. When you hand the knife to someone else, be careful not to point the knife to him/her.
Knives should avoid contact with the heat source: never leave the knife on the stove or in contact with any heat source, otherwise the knife may be damaged or may cause scald injury.
